Notice: If you are using IE8 or IE7 with SP2 our menu system may not give you our sub menus. Microsofts service pack and IE8 have broken capabilities when interputing Javascripts. If you can revert back to an older version. You should do so as many sites you frequent may not have things accessable to you due to this problem. We have conducted a search for a fix to the problem and haven't found one. Until Microsoft repairs this problem we offer a site map that will offer popup windows with the sub pages in our menu system. Click Here for sitemap.

New look and new feel: Welcome to Vets Do Ask Do Tell, LLC. We have a new look and feel to our website. Just a little under a year ago, we came on line with a very crude but effective website. We didn't realize what was going to happen at the time, but almost a year later we've gone from a website to a national organization. Your donations and memberships have kept us alive in an economic time that has devastated us all. With a little back room help, we have freshened up the site to make it more favorable on a national level. Thank you all for your support and contributions.

Headline: (Associated Press) 10 colonoscopy patients have hepatitis, VA says

The 10 are among thousands of patients who have been warned to get blood tests since being treated at VA facilities in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Miami and Augusta, Ga. All three sites failed to properly sterilize equipment between treatments.

VA spokeswoman Katie Roberts said Friday that four Tennessee patients have tested positive for hepatitis B. Six have tested positive for hepatitis C, a potentially life-threatening form of the viral infection that can cause permanent liver damage. ... More >>>

What's New:

With a new website, a new day is born. To develop a more national approach to our site, you will find some things gone from here. Although we will still show events that may be demographic to a specific area, these events will be moved to other areas of our site or to a chapter website when applicable. The new site will be geared to more national and regional information and less local information on our front page. For areas where no chapter is located at the moment, we will continue to highlight those locales as information becomes available. This is your site and let us know what's going on at your VA.

VET To VET Program in Central Alabama:

Central Alabama Veterans Administration has a mentoring program where Vets from previous conflicts help Vets returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who are having problems when returning home. You can read more about it by clicking on VA Programs and then Montgomery on our menu.
